The first time you wear your denim apron, it might feel a little stiff. But here's the cool part: the more you wear it, the better it will adapt to your body. The apron will become softer, more supple, and will move with you. Therefore, we recommend breaking in your apron thoroughly before washing it for the first time.

Most people who wear raw denim advise washing it as infrequently as possible. Why? Because this is the only way the apron can improve over time and develop its unique patina. After the first wash, you should expect the raw denim to shrink a little. This is perfectly normal, as raw denim is untreated. Each wash leaves individual color variations and marks that become even more interesting with each subsequent wash. The denim apron is an everyday item that can get dirty. Small stains can easily be removed with a cloth or a small brush.
